Welcome to
the Core 4 Program, a comprehensive program to help you make exercise
and good nutrition apart of your daily life.
If you've stopped in to shed a
few pounds, you are much like the 80-90% of women who exercise in order
to lose weight. We can help you there, but we've got other goals in mind
too. At Slim and Tone our true concern is setting you on a path toward
long lasting health—by giving you the means to become more physically
fit.
How will we do this? First,
you'll meet with one of our trained staff members. We will take your
body composition measurements and resting heart rate as a starting
point. We will then assess your fitness level in the areas of muscle
strength, cardio endurance and flexibility. We will also discuss your
fitness goals.
This
information is then used to help us recommend a 30 minute exercise
program just for you.
Modeled after guidelines
established by American College of Sports Medicine and other leading
fitness authorities, your personal Core 4 Program focuses on the four
areas associated with keeping healthy and physically fit:

This fundamental approach is unique to the Core 4 Program. Your
personalized 30-minute workout will consist of:
- Building strength,
using our hydraulic machines, Dynabands, free weights, and exercise
balls, each addressing different muscle groups.
- Building endurance
through cardiovascular exercise.
- Time left over to
stretch and strengthen your muscles and bones to improve
flexibility.
We can even jump-start your
diet! The 28-day NutriSystem* Nourish™ weight loss program, including
naturally-balanced whole food, will keep you energized, nourished and
get you on the right track.
We will also periodically
measure your progress. As you grow stronger, we'll change your program
so that you continue to be challenged to reach your personal best.
